Numbers in Words

This page is the full index behind the converter: every number below links to its own page with the written form, the ordinal, the currency wording, and a ready-to-copy check phrasing.

We index each whole number from 0 to 1,000 on its own, then switch to round figures — thousands, ten-thousands, hundred-thousands, up through a billion — rather than generating a page for every possible integer, which would produce entries with nothing to say. Common check amounts like $1,250 and $7,500 are included alongside the round numbers because they're what people actually search for.

101–1000

Three-digit territory, where hyphenation and the word "and" start to matter — every whole number from 101 to 1,000, individually.

Round & large numbers

From there we switch to round figures rather than indexing every integer: thousands, ten-thousands, hundred-thousands, and on up to a billion, plus the check amounts people actually search for, like $1,250 and $7,500.
